Liberty Call: Lake Michigan Boat Tour | September 15, 2021– Registration Required

Join Chicago Veterans for a unique Liberty Call experience as we tour Lake Michigan riding on a piece of Chicago History. The Fred A. Busse is a flagship vessel that was an active Fireboat for the Chicago Fire Department from 1937 until 1981.

Our Liberty Calls are recurring high-impact networking events consisting of current military members, veterans, spouses, and civilians designed to connect attendees with subject matter experts, thought leaders, employers, and organizations to help build a stronger social support system and take your career to the next level.

Chicago Fireboat Tours: The Chicago Fireboat Tours is a Veteran Owned, Chicago tour boat company. THey conduct historical tours, sunset cruises, and private events on the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. Learn more at:

All cruises depart from DuSable Harbors, 111 N Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60601. The Fred A. Busse is docked just East of the iconic MV Abegweit which houses the Columbia Yacht Club. Look for the big red Fireboat!


Archery at the Park – September 19, 2021 – Registration Required – Limited spaces.

One-hour archery lesson on an outdoor range in Belmont harbor. All equipment and instructors will be provided.

Join us on the Lake Front as we host an Archery class for our Veterans Community.

This will be an introductory class to learn the basics and get familiarized with shooting. This class is a great way for people with little to no experience to try archery for the first time.
