Supt. Zaragoza, fellow veterans, family, and friends,

Thank you for your kindness.  I extend special thanks to the Veteran’s Assistance Commission of Cook County for their thoughtful appreciation in honoring my achievements today. Due to a previous obligation with my music, I regret not being able to be here before you.

We’re all Veterans together.  Being members of the Veteran’s Association of Cook County, we all have a responsibility to work toward protecting our rights and our family’s rights.  We’re supposed to be doing that through education, communication, and technology.  So let’s go home and do just that……….with a smile on our face and love in our hearts.
