Student veterans as well as veterans from throughout the community are invited to attend the Veterans Resource Fair, presented by Triton College Career Services.
The Veterans Resource Fair is Wednesday, Feb. 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Room B-204/210 of the Triton College Student Center, located on the west side of campus, 2000 Fifth Ave., River Grove.
The event is free to attend and lunch will be served to all veterans.
Organizations and companies will be on hand to share information and help connect veterans with services and resources including housing assistance, disability and pension claims, health screenings and more. The event will include a free lunch for all veterans.

We need your help to restore and repair the Montford Point Marine Association (MPMA) Veteran Center located at 7011 S. Vincennes, Chicago, Illinois 60621.
We are asking for at least 50 volunteers to help work in our veteran center on November 11, 2019. We have a partnership with Rebuilding Together, a nonprofit with a Heroes at Home Program and Sears, our benevolent donor who will supply funding for some of the internal repairs, if MPMA finds the volunteers.

The Student Veterans Center at Prairie State College (PSC) is hosting a Veterans Resources Fair from 10a.m. to 2 p.m., March 4, in the Prairie Center gym of the college’s main campus, located at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights.
This event features free health screenings community as well as housing, legal, employment and educational information, and much more. All veterans, current service members and their families are welcome to attend.

This Saturday, April 15th from 10 – 2 pm, the Office of Military Student Affairs will be having its 8th Veterans job/Resources Fair, this year in the Atrium. Please feel free to share this with others. Or stop by to get information for a family member or friend.
So far over 35 vendors are currently signed up to share information about job opportunities and resources. Workshops will be provided by Cook County Veterans Affairs and the local VA Hospitals, sharing information about the PACT Act as well.

Come participate in our first annual Benjamin O Davis VFW Post 311 Veterans Fair. This is an exciting event that offers free lunch and raffle give aways. Now is the time for Veterans and their families to get the support they deserve and learn about other benefits and entitlements. This exclusive free event will bring together government agencies, nonprofits, education and businesses that cater to Veterans and their families in Chicago and the South Suburbs.This Veterans Fair is completely free of charge through registration, be sure to include your family members as well let’s come together to get knowledge, information, and build camaraderie between our brothers and sisters in arms and their families.
