The next meeting of CVO will be on this Saturday, June 18th from 10 AM to 12:30 PM at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in the Conference Room on the 2nd Floor.

We will discuss the press conference we held on May 24th, organized by former alderman Jim Balcer and others. It outlined a veterans program for candidates in the 2016 elections. CVO had major input.

The Montford Point Marine Association, Inc. (MPMA, Inc.) invites you to join us as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, June 18, 2016 in Chicago, Illinois.

MPMA, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit veteran service organization established in June 1966 to perpetuate the legacy of the first African Americans who entered the Marine Corps. Our membership is open to veterans of all of the Armed Forces. Our purpose is to support education, advocate veteran programs, and promote community service. Now in existence for close to fifty years, MPMA, Inc. continues to strive to expand its programs and offerings to the community.

In order to meet our mission and provide services within our community, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses. So we’re asking for your support by placing an ad in our 50th Anniversary Journal. Job Fair located at 2303 W. Indian Trail Rd. Aurora IL. 60506. We have 2nd shift General Labor positions at 609 S. Kirk Rd in St. Charles IL. 60174 base pay for those positions is $9.00 an hour and we also have Forklift Operator positions available in Aurora IL. same location as the Job Fair the base pay for those positions is $10.00 an hour but once training is completed they will earn $11.00 an hour and the best part is that we offer a Productivity Incentive Plan which they have the opportunity to earn up to $17.25 an hour.  They are in charge of how much they can earn. So come out and join us and become a part of a Great Team!!!! Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
