Francine O’Connor has been active in the Chicago Veterans’ movement since the late 1980’s. She has been involved on both the organizational foundation of Veterans for Unification (VU) and the Coalition of Veterans Organizations (CVO).

She is Associate (civilians) Member Director of VU.

She is a civilian, from a long line of military veterans and a VA nurse {1981-2018}.

Francine has been acknowledged by the Veterans Assistance Commission of Cook County, the National Women’s Veterans United, CVO and VU for her volunteer efforts in the veterans’ community.
