Larry Nazimek received his B. S. and M. S. in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from the Univ. of Illinois. He went on to work for the McDonnell Douglas Astronautics Co. with a job title of “Assoc. Engr./Scientist,” where he worked on the Spartan ABM and the Skylab project.
He served in the USAF where he was dual-rated (Pilot and Navigator). He was a Weapon Systems Ofcr. in the F-4 Phantom, and a pilot in the T-38 Talon and B-52 Stratofortress.
In addition to CVO, he is a member of the Veteran Strike Force, Chicago Vets, SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Telephone & Radio Artists), Aircraft Owners & Pilots Assn., Experimental Aircraft Assn., and he serves as a Beat Facilitator and member of the 25th Police Dist. Advisory Council. He does occasional film/TV work and writes for aviation magazines.
