A group of concerned veterans attended a Press Conference on Tuesday May 24, at City Hall. We were there to express the concerns of veterans in Chicago and Illinois and to call on those running for elective office to have a well thought out, comprehensive program for the veteran community which we represent. Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced a final silica rule that will save more than 600 lives a year and protect the health of thousands of others.
