The Muslim American Veterans Association (MAVA) will have a Jobs Fair & Awards Luncheon Ceremony at General Jones Armory, 52d and Cottage Grove, on Saturday, May 26th from noon to 6 PM.

CVO will be participating after the Memorial Day Parade.

This Friday—June 21st— there is a rally against Urban Violence and for Peace in the Streets at 7 PM at 78th Place and Throop. CVO firmly supports the movement for peace and has long been a member of Veterans for Peace. Veterans have a unique role to play in this movement. We have seen violence; we have been violent. We recognize that building a secure, safe environment for our children and families means ending urban violence. As veterans, we can bring experience and a respected position in society to the streets. We need you to show up and show the way!

Wear your CVO shirts and hats and show off that you are a veteran!

Come out and support CVO and Occupy the Streets this Friday and show the city and the world that we want Peace!
