Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the regional business community presents: VETERANS BACK TO WORK CAREER FAIR OPENING RECEPTION. This RECEPTION is specifically targeting Military, Veterans, Spouses and Dependents who are looking for new work opportunities in the region.

All veteran attendees that pre- register in advance and attend will get entered in a drawing for a BRAND NEW Laptop computer that includes Microsoft Office and prizes will be drawn that day! This private Veteran reception will give you exclusive time with HR reps. in the region before the Career Fair opens to the public.

The Once & Always Chicago Marines presents the 81st Remembrance of the attack on Pearl Harbor memorial program. Saturday, December 3, 2021 at 11 am at the American Legion located at 1824 W. Cortland St., Chicago IL 60622. 
This Saturday, April 15th from 10 – 2 pm, the Office of Military Student Affairs will be having its 8th Veterans job/Resources Fair, this year in the Atrium. Please feel free to share this with others. Or stop by to get information for a family member or friend.
So far over 35 vendors are currently signed up to share information about job opportunities and resources. Workshops will be provided by Cook County Veterans Affairs and the local VA Hospitals, sharing information about the PACT Act as well.

Now is the time for Veterans and their families to get the support they deserve and learn about other benefits and entitlements. This exclusive free event will bring together government agencies, nonprofits, education and businesses that cater to Veterans and their families in Chicago and the South Suburbs.This Veterans Fair is completely free of charge through registration, be sure to include your family members as well let’s come together to get knowledge, information, and build camaraderie between our brothers and sisters in arms and their families.
