The 7th Welcome Home Warrior Summit is set to take place on Saturday, October 24th, 2015.
Warrior Summit Coalition, The Department of Veterans Affairs, and the City of Chicago team up to host the 7th Welcome Home Warrior Summit” at the UIC Pavilion located on the campus of The University of Illinois – Chicago (UIC).

We are honored to Welcome Home and celebrate all veterans especially those military service members who have recently returned from serving during our current combat operations such as Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) & Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). Special Tribute will be honored to Wounded Warriors, and Gold Star Families in the ceremony. The Warrior Summit Coalition, The Department of Veterans Affairs, and a host of community partners are collaborating to provide 3,000 military service members, veterans and families of the Midwest Region an opportunity to connect with benefits, education, employment, housing, legal, disabilities, mental health, family & children services and faith based organizational opportunities in one central location. Over 100 organizations will be present and working together to unite the community and deliver programs and services to veterans efficiently.

Veterans and their families are invited to join us for FREE raffles, food, sporting event tickets, informational booths, family friendly activities, and a great celebration of their dedication and service to our country. We are committed to helping make each service member’s transition from active military status be as seamless as possible. However, the Welcome Home Warrior Summit also provides a wonderful networking experience for employers and veteran support organizations which improves business to business relations, enhances quality support programs and services, and in turn helps thousands of veterans and their families.

This one-of-a-kind event is FREE and OPEN to the veterans, military personnel, wounded warriors, gold star survivors, prisoners of war, and the GENERAL PUBLIC.

Job Fair located at 2303 W. Indian Trail Rd. Aurora IL. 60506. We have 2nd shift General Labor positions at 609 S. Kirk Rd in St. Charles IL. 60174 base pay for those positions is $9.00 an hour and we also have Forklift Operator positions available in Aurora IL. same location as the Job Fair the base pay for those positions is $10.00 an hour but once training is completed they will earn $11.00 an hour and the best part is that we offer a Productivity Incentive Plan which they have the opportunity to earn up to $17.25 an hour.  They are in charge of how much they can earn. Proudly sponsored by 6th District Cook County Commissioner Joan Patricia Murphy, VITAS Healthcare, Dignity Memorial and the Alsip Double Tree Hotel by Hilton, all branches of serviceman and women will be honored at the ceremony and celebration, Thursday October 13, 2016.

The 6th Annual “Salute to the Armed Forces” will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton in Alsip located at 5000 W. 127th Street. All branches of serviceman and women will be honored for serving their Country with pride and dedication at a ceremony, Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 1 p.m. Doors open at 12:00p.m. All Honorees must pre-register to attend.

A Free Patriotic celebration to salute our Armed Forces Service Men and Women. Share in an afternoon of fellowship and appreciation for your courage and dedication. Those that have served in the United States Armed Forces in war time and peace time will be honored for their contribution and sacrifice to our great Nation. This celebration is proudly presented by Cook County Commissioner Joan Patricia Murphy, Vitas Healthcare, Dignity Memorial, and Double Tree Hotel by Hilton.

All branches of military service men and women will receive an Honorary “Salute Certificate” and custom designed Brass Commemorative Pin. The Ceremony of Appreciation will also include a Patriot program, POW-MIA Remembrance Service, noted guest speakers, patriot entertainment and Color Guard presentation. Refreshments will be served to all honorees and guests.
