The Student Veterans Center at Prairie State College (PSC) is hosting a Veterans Resources Fair from 10a.m. to 2 p.m., March 4, in the Prairie Center gym of the college’s main campus, located at 202 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights.
This event features free health screenings community as well as housing, legal, employment and educational information, and much more. All veterans, current service members and their families are welcome to attend.

Join DePaul University and Veterans Advocacy Group in honor of National Vietnam Veterans Day. The featured speaker will be author William V. Taylor with his book “On Full Automatic”. This Saturday, April 15th from 10 – 2 pm, the Office of Military Student Affairs will be having its 8th Veterans job/Resources Fair, this year in the Atrium. Please feel free to share this with others. Or stop by to get information for a family member or friend.
So far over 35 vendors are currently signed up to share information about job opportunities and resources. Workshops will be provided by Cook County Veterans Affairs and the local VA Hospitals, sharing information about the PACT Act as well.
