On behalf of our president Kenneth “Dreamaker” Thomas and the Buffalo Troopers MC of Chicago, we would like to extend an invitation to you and your organization to attend our Black Tie Affair on October 24th 2015. The next meeting of CVO will be held at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in the 2nd floor Conference Room on this Wednesday, March 21st at 7 PM. The Executive Committee will meet before hand at 6 PM. All are invited. Executive Committee members are encouraged to be on time.
CORRECTION: There will not be an Executive Committee meeting on March 21, 2018 CVO meeting.
LaShun James will make a presentation on Addus Homecare for Veterans. This is an important medical issue for Veterans, so be sure to come and hear LaShun.
Also, nominations will be held for the Executive Committee. All nominations must be made at this meeting. The elections to the CVO Executive Committee will be held at the April meeting.
As usual, pizza will be served. Parking will be validated.

The next meeting of CVO will be held at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in the 2nd floor Conference Room on this Wednesday, April 18th at 7 PM.
We will hold elections to the Executive Committee.
Angela Turner-Susberry will make a presentation to veterans showing that they need to take care of their arrangements in advance, thereby taking the burden off their families. They can share this information with their family and friends.
Donald Evans of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) which organizes workers at Jesse Brown, will make a presentation on the Right to Heal Campaign. Bruce Parry will update the members on the Right to Heal meeting held on this past Saturday and on other activities involving CVO.
As usual, pizza will be served. Parking will be validated.

The next CVO meeting will be held on this Wednesday, August 15th, at 7 PM at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center at 820 S Damen in Chicago. Arrive at 6:30 to chat with Executive Committee members.
The agenda will include new information on the Jesse Brown VAMC, the Accelerator Program and the interns for CVO, Announcements of upcoming events, a report from the Veteran Affairs Committee and more.
As usual, pizza will be served. It will be hotter at 6:30 if you arrive early. Parking in the garage will be validated; get it validated at the front desk as you arrive.

The next CVO meeting will be held at Jesse Brown VA (820 S Damen in Chicago) on this Wednesday, September 19th, at 7 PM in the 2nd Floor Conference Room. Show up at 6:30 PM to chat with the Executive Committee members and have some hot pizza.
We will memorialize and honor our fallen comrade and CVO Co-Founder David Rogers.
The agenda will also include a presentation on “Home Funding Options for Veterans” by Marcus D. Jefferson. Fundraising will also be on the agenda, plus Dental Care for Veterans and our Hyde Park office and the grant with the University of Chicago.
There will be pizza. Garage parking will be validated; get the validation when you arrive at the front desk.

The agenda includes a return by Bill Luna and his presentation on the history of Mexican American Veterans. Bill has made a dynamic presentation on this subject before and you can be sure there will be a lively discussion.
We will also have an update on Veterans Dental Care and the introduction of S 3133, the Senate version of the House bill calling for Dental Care for all veterans.
As usual, pizza will be served. Parking in the garage will be validated; get the validation when you arrive.
