The Veterans Assistance Commission of DuPage County is hosting:
HINES HOSPITAL DAY
Who: Hines VA Hospital
What: Hines Resource Event
When: Thursday, May 31, 2018, 9am – 3pm
Where: DuPage County Building, 421 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187
Why: So Veterans will have an opportunity to talk to the different departments in Hines and for Hines to provide information to Veterans and their families
Hines Hospital will have over 15 different departments such as: Eligibility, Billing, Transportation, Disease Prevention, Home Health Care, plus more
Each department will give a short presentation and will have a table there, so you can go to the different departments to get more information.
A free light breakfast and full lunch will be provided, so if you plan on attending this event, please RSVP by calling the VAC office at, 630-407-5655 or e-mailing us at, dupagevac@dupageco.org, because seating is limited and we need a headcount for the meals. This is your time to talk directly to the different departments of Hines Hospital, so please take advantage of this opportunity.

Our Chairman and Treasurer will be absent, so the election of officers will take place at the Board meeting to be held at 6 PM on July 17, prior to the regular meeting.

The next meeting of CVO will be held this Wednesday, July 17th, at 7 PM at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center (820 S Damen in Chicago) in the 2nd floor Conference Room. Show up early to make sure we begin on time and to get refreshments!
The Agenda will include presentations of Member Organizations and Committees. We will discuss the plans for CVO for the next year and how each of us can participate.
As always, refreshments will be served and parking in the garage will be validated. Get your parking validation at the main desk when you arrive to help keep it simple.

We need your help to restore and repair the Montford Point Marine Association (MPMA) Veteran Center located at 7011 S. Vincennes, Chicago, Illinois 60621.
We are asking for at least 50 volunteers to help work in our veteran center on November 11, 2019. We have a partnership with Rebuilding Together, a nonprofit with a Heroes at Home Program and Sears, our benevolent donor who will supply funding for some of the internal repairs, if MPMA finds the volunteers.
